A sofa bed is a shit sofa and a shit bed.

Useful in a pinch. But given the choice, you’d probably like a good sofa to sit on and a good bed to sleep in.

We wonder whether some of our technology has become a sofa bed. The music player is also the inbox. The photo album is also the news. The place we go to think is also the place that keeps interrupting us.

There’s room for something more deliberate. A place for music. A place for photographs. A moment for a conversation. Each designed around the thing we came to do.

We believe different activities deserve a different intention. That’s a thought behind Qiosk.
